The short version

  • We count visits without cookies, and no count can point back to you.
  • If you join the waitlist, we use your email once and delete it 30 days later.
  • No ads, no trackers, and we sell no data. The fonts load from this site, not from Google.

Who runs First Build Club

First Build Club is run by Dmitrii Nikolaev, an individual in the Czech Republic.

He decides what data First Build Club keeps and why, so he is the controller under the GDPR. First Build Club has no company behind it and no data protection officer.

What we keep, and why

When you visit. We count four steps: a visit to the site, a copied Install line, a finished first lesson, and the price coming into view. Each count is a row with the step's name, your kind of computer or phone, and the day. A visit's row also names the website that sent you, such as google.com, and the campaign in the link, if it has one. A row holds no name, no ID, and no IP address, and we store nothing on your device to make it. We use the counts to see where people stop and to improve First Build Club. That is our legitimate interest under GDPR Art 6(1)(f).

If you join the waitlist. We keep your email to tell you when the course opens. You asked for it, so the basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it any time by writing to us. We delete waitlist emails 30 days after the opening email goes out.

On your device. One flag in your browser's storage remembers that you finished the first lesson, because you asked the page to remember it. Nothing else. We use no analytics cookies, no ad pixels, and no tracking scripts from other companies.

Who else gets it

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and forwards mail sent to privacy@firstbuildclub.com and hello@firstbuildclub.com. It sees your IP address when your browser loads a page.
  • Convex runs the database that holds the counts and the waitlist. It sees your IP address when the page talks to it.

Both are US companies. They receive data under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as their own terms state.

We don't sell your data, we don't share it for advertising, and we run no ad pixels. So there is nothing to opt out of, and the site treats a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal the same way it treats every visit: it tracks nothing across sites.

Refunds

The course costs $49.90, paid once. Get the full $49.90 back within 14 days of buying, for any reason, with no questions asked, or at any time if the app from Level 1 doesn't run on your computer. To claim either, email hello@firstbuildclub.com. The 14 days also cover your right to withdraw from the purchase under EU consumer law.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, delete, or hand over your data, to stop using it, or to restrict it. Write to privacy@firstbuildclub.com and we'll do it within 30 days. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to the Czech data protection office, the ÚOOÚ (uoou.gov.cz), or to the one in your own country.

You don't have to give us any data to read the site or take the first lesson. No decision about you is made by a machine alone.
